Ellis Weinberger helps clients find jobs they like with the Cambridge University Careers Service, as a career coach he helps clients discover and take the next step on their path, and he runs personal security workshops which enable people to learn how to improve their observation and their communication skills. He supervised digitising and typesetting projects, and managed the web site for the Taylor-Schechter Genizah Research Unit, and used emulation and migration strategies to preserve an editing and typesetting system for the Darwin Correspondence Project, at Cambridge University Library. He developed collection management policy, intellectual property rights policy, and security policy in digital object preservation for the CEDARS Project, and developed a migration strategy for the BBC Domesday digital object on behalf of the CAMiLEON Project. He composed descriptions of medieval Hebrew and Judeo-Arabic liturgical manuscripts, helped manage the manuscript digitizing project, and managed the web site, for the Taylor-Schechter Genizah Research Unit at Cambridge University Library. He catalogued books in Hebrew, Yiddish, and other languages at the School of Oriental and African Studies Library, University of London. He received his Masters in Information and Library Studies from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.
